No the 45 bottles of wine, Do Not touch each other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just answered the question above. An alternative if you have little or no use for mags is to simply take out the bottom shelving. I would guestimate that you could fit close to two cases alone just in that space if you didn't mind them touching, which I do not see as a problem except for possible noise from vibration as the cooler kicks on or off. Remember also that the unit itself kicks out hot air in the back an there is always noise from the compressor unit when it is on. The other shelves have 7 bottles across with room to spare, so let's say 8 will fit in at the bottom where you have removed the shelf. Row on bottom would fit 8, next row up (pyramid style) would fit 7, third row would fit 8 again. That's 23 bottles just at the bottom. But again I would stress to get one out of the box and make sure shelf removes and there is enough room. It looks like a good unit and the price is right. A colleague asked me for my opinion and that is how I got here. I have a 330 bottle unit and you learn to get tricky.
