Your cable box may be set to output a 720p picture. You need to go into the service menu on your box and change the signal output to match that of the TV display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know what picture you're referencing, but it's a 1080 capable TV. It may be that the sample you saw just demonstrates it can handle 420, 720, 1080 equally well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends entirely on how the show was originally filmed. Alot of older shows were in 720 or even 480. If the show was recorded in 1080, then your tv will display it as such. Try viewing different tv programs and press the INFO button to see what the show is presented in. Don't worry-there is nothing wrong with your tv.
