“Does this TV allow audio out for surround sound? I got a 3.5mm to RCA adapter to connect to the surround sound stereo, but it isn't really surround sound. Also, why can't I adjust the treble and bass? The option is there but can't be selected.”

I would definitely contact the tech center at customer service. I can change my treble and bass quite easily so something might be an issue.
