• Menu=>Picture=>Advanced Settings=>Aspect Ratio. Play around with those settings to get the picture you want.

• The one I purchased does the same thing. I hope it just needs a receiver update from Direct TV.

• I'm sure you've tried the aspect feature on remote? Put it on zoom. Different settings on tv remote.

• Go into picture settings and turn on overscan. Or go into your cable box, or whatever your video source is, and turn off overscan.
