QuestionI am purchasing the bundle package LG washer and dryer. If I purchase the 5 year protection plan does it cover the bundle as a whole or would I need to purchase two 5 year warranty plans; one for the washer and one for the dryer?

QuestionDoes our 5 yr extended refrigerator warranty cover food spoilage when a covered repair for a manufacturers defect caused us to have to unplug empty and thaw our refrigerator for the repair? We would have been covered for food spoilage in a power failure.

- Answer In my case the geek squad protection ran concurrently with the machines original warranty. It did not start at the end of the original warranty. Apparently the geek squad warranty covers some things that the original warranty doesn't. I think the original warranty was one year.

QuestionIs there any reason Pacific Sales refuses to honor their 5 year warranty that we purchased from them. All they want to do is refund the monies and let it up to us to purchase the additional warranty. What are my options.

QuestionHello, We have just received a new Bosch washer, tried to run the first washing cycle, but the machine won't start. The start/pause signal is flashing. On the manual, it says this is related to a door lock issue. What should we do?

- Answer I haven’t had this problem with this machine but I did have it with a previous machine so maybe this will help. Mine wouldn’t lock and I got the same error message. Mine was a top loader so I leaned on the top and put some weight on and it was able to lock and worked good. Try that and if it works then the top is not going down all the way. If not then maybe it is going down too far.

QuestionDoes warranty cover someone coming out to clean lint trap inside the dryer? I'm not referring to the pull-out lint trap, rather unscrewing the plate at the front of dryer to dig down deep into the dryer where I keep getting error message lint trap full.

- Answer You need a new control board and are having drainage issues. Are you sure the door Is not locked? Because once the cycle starts it automatically locks. If you hit pause the door should unlock.
