“Do you need the remote to control the volume or can it be with a button on the TV?”

• Just picked up this TV as an open box item with no remote...it ONLY has one button on it...the on/off/input button on the bottom left. ALL other functions have to be operated thru the remote. Never owned a TV without the function button on it...bummer!

• You are gonna need a remote for this tv, I've yet to see a button on this box.

• I have to use the remote for the TV volume. The remote for the cable does not control the volume.
