This is A standard non-polarized plug, meaning the electricity can flow through either side of the cord based on how it’s plugged in to the outlet. If your TV uses a power adapter then this would plug into the adapter not the TV. Polarized plugs control the flow of electricity with a larger neutral prong on the outlet end and a flat edge on device end. This prevents the cord from being plugged in incorrectly.
