The holes on the back of the TV are intended for wall mounting the TV. Some universal stands require those mounting ports to attach to the TV. So yes, you could do that. The pattern is 400x200mm and those holes require an M6 screw that is 9mm long. The TV weighs 45.81 pounds without the stand. If you want to use the stand the TV comes with, it is 47.87" at it's widest and a depth of 11.95".
