• I tried with an adaptor that outputs 2.1amps but it did not work. It turns off abruptly. Atleast you could have included the appropriate adaptor. I would probably return.

• Yes you can use this projector with the power cord connected. You would just need to make sure the power source like the power adapter you are using is outputting at least 2.1 Amps or more for it to stay on correctly.
