Hello Tinakay, The sound performance of the unit highly depends on your audience size. The internal speaker may be adequate for audience group of up to 5-7 people. If it's a classroom of approximately 7-10 students, we will recommend to connect to external speakers via the 3.5 mm headphone jack, especially when you desire for ambient sounds of the media.
