- Answer Yes, this supports charging the laptop via USB type A or C connector. The power requirements for charging the laptop via USB type C is 19.5V, 2.25A.

- Answer It should provide the same battery life, which is rated at 9 hours. This of course will depend on how it is being used, ie: light internet browsing versus audio or video streaming.
