• It should! Just keep in mind that you may need to change your video output settings to use an external monitor -- most computers do not detect external displays automatically.

• Yes you can do that. That's what I do, I am using the 27" with a Dell laptop.

• Yes. You would just have to change your display preferences on your Mac. You would also need to get a wireless or USB keyboard, obviously.

• Yes you sure can. That's exactly what I did with my new 2016 MacBook Pro. Plenty of YouTube tutorials but it's really simple. Only problem I had was getting my speakers to work fluidly, but then I realized this had a 3.8mm headphone jack built in and that fixed my problem.

• Yes, I am using it with a laptop. As long as the MAC Book has an external monitor port it will work.

• You should be able to with the HDMI port, if you have a newer macbook. For the older one, you may need an adapter. Once you've connected, it just takes going to the macbook OS settings and changing them to use the external display.

• It will. I assume it is not an old laptop. But even with most new laptops they output only 1366 x 768 resolution, well below the monitor's HD rating.
