- Answer Recertified products can be demo units, review units or customer returns. Unfortunately there is no way to determine why a particular model was recertified. With that said, these should be purchased with the expectation of some possible cosmetic issues, but the product should be in working condition.

While Acer does not test many gaming applications we would recommend you check that the computer meets the system requirements of the application/game to determine if it will work.
