“Is there any other type of Ram that will work with this system other than the OEM? I have purchased 3 different sticks of ddr3 SoDimms for this system, 2 & 4 Gb, and none will work. I have tried each stick alone, as well as mixing with each other and with the OEM, however it will only run with just the OEM stick installed. Any ideas as to why?”

• You need an 8gb DDR3L memory. The machine does not take DDR3 memory. It was a bait and switch by Acer.

• Make sure before you purchase the RAM it has the same voltage and speed...recommended you use the same manufacturer as well. Most likely it came with Kingston, so go on Kingston website and look up model and purchase it.
