• Yes either via Bluetooth or the headphone jack. Another option is casting via Googles support.

• Yes, with a caveat. The audio output from the 1/8" headphone jack is not powerful enough to drive most hi-fi speakers (typically 8-ohm) directly, so you will need either powered speakers or connect to the aux input of an external amplifier/stereo system. (This is pretty much the case for all tablets/smartphones, not just this model.)
