It runs super cool. I was running two sessions of a CPU stress tool to get all 16 threads up toward 100% while playing Forza 4 on Ultra (it was jittery with the CPU things going) and it was hitting 75c CPU / mid/low 60's GPU I believe. Not surprising considering the efficient 4600h and low power drawing 1650 mobile. Add to that the very well laid out cooling (there are teardowns online) and you have 0 thermal issues. It does respond well to having the rear elevated, even something as simple as a small piece of scrap wood, I had a mill end piece about 1/2" thick by 1" wide that I used to raise up the back a bit and that dropped the temps a few degrees during stress testing.
