Acer can offer the OEM version of Windows only. If you want to modify the laptop you need to contact Best Buy directly to see if they offer upgrades prior to purchase. This model does ship with an M.2 SSD which you can upgrade yourself, as well as the 2.5" slot if you need extra storage. Also there are YouTube videos posted on how to remove the bottom case to access these slots, if Best Buy cannot help you with this.
