• With average "office" type use then you'll not hear the fans. And if you do just fire up NitroSENSE and turn them down. The Chrome browser will sometimes kick the fan speed up if you have several tabs open.

• Mine is very quiet. I think it is pretty fast if all you want is a productivity machine. It does look like a gaming laptop.

• I was never distracted by the fan noise, and on par or quieter to computers like a macbook pro.

• Fairly quite unless you override the turbo fan. It should be ok for meetings.

• It's a gaming laptop with crappy battery life...It's also rather large...I wouldn't expect to walk into meetings with it. Get an ultrabook for that purpose.
