• The refresh rate is a hardware feature your monitor has to support, just like the output resolution. Different Hdmi versions support different output resolution and refresh rates (e.g. 4K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, 8K@60Hz, etc.). This PC's display supports the 144Hz refresh rate, but it does not mean *any* monitor you connect will have the same refresh rate.
