Yo have to remove the motherboard and flip it over. The memory and 2nd M.2 slot are there. The M.2 slot has a screw in it already. Cover screws are hex and internal Philips. I found no schematics. The M.2 that comes with it is a OEM Samsung and has the OS on it. I added the 2nd M.2 and upped the memory to 32GB. See a better explanation on the process in the review I did for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. the laptop I purchased required star screw heads, just to take the cover off, which are beyond unusual, or these 6 point type star screw heads. the insides did NOT show, nor allow access to the M.2 drives. there were many small wires connectors to many different ports, even the battery ports had these wire push connectors. they are so delicate that they will break when disturbed. this laptop insides were designed NOT to be disturbed or tampered with. for that reason, all the good that this specific model achieved, it failed miserably on this count, as I could not maintain, upgrade, swap or otherwise, once the cover was off.
