The Next -Gen consoles have games and etc that cap out at 120fps certain games run 60 and certain games run 120. All in the game not cuz they cap. With tech building consoles are slowly progressing to miniature PC.

Please try again later.Xbox caps at 60 frames even with newer consoles so you would max at 60hz out of the 165hz monitor max of course it’s not perfect Hz to fps but only PCs go over 60 frames sadley. HDMI supports up to 144 hz which could lead to 144 fps if running on a good PC while DP overclocks to 165 hz which can bring the gpa up to 165 max but like I said before consoles both Xbox and PlayStation will max at 60 frames as long as the monitor is 60hz or higher. Hope this helped slightly more it might be confusing to understand if you don’t game on PC. -Logan
