A:Answer I've only owned the Chromebook for about 3 weeks so I can't really answer your speed degradation question. It's a big Android tablet that has a nice keyboard. You can use it like a laptop, but it's not really a laptop; it's a Chromebook. You can only install Google Play apps. You can play a large variety of games on it. Keep in mind, though, that you only have a 32Gig hard drive. That should be enough for most people, but the heavy duty users. But, because it's a Chromebook, most of your files (Word, Excel, .pdf, etc.) should be stored in the cloud.
