- Answer If it’s just going to be you playing, up close to it, yes. Monitors are designed to be right in front of you, vs TVs which are meant for a further viewing. Monitors typically have a better response time.

- Answer its a monitor, not a computer / pc they don't come with an operating system. If you are looking for an All in one computer, Bestbuy has a great selection.

- Answer I measure it at 16 7/8" diagonally. The measurement may be a fraction of an inch off (as my wife's cat is messing with the tape measure), but I believe it is accurate.

- Answer not with the original stand, it would have to be mounted on an aftermarket mount or bracket to be oriented that way. I personally use a dual setup and sometimes i flip one side to accommodate my projects at hand. Bestbuy has mounts of all sorts available, if they are VESA mounts, these screens fit. i linked 2 quick ideas for you. but Dual monitor mounts are also available and much more.

- Answer Not on it's own. However you can purchase a "smart" outlet (Wemo, etc.) and plug the monitor into that.
