No it cannot. I have a separate small bluetooth keyboard that I use when I need to do keyboard shortcuts for applications. That being said, I generally always reverse the screen and leave it plugged into the keyboard as it doubles as a heat buffer (the computer part gets pretty toasty) and there is an extra battery in the keyboard as well.
