I have mine setup with one adapter connected to Motorola mb2761 that uses a provided splitter to route a cable to modem and another cable to adapter. The adapter is connected to my router which is connected to the modem. The 2nd adapter is connected directly to coax that I was using for my set box. The adapter has a built in splitter with a tv/out. I connect my set top box to it. I ran an Ethernet cable from the adapter to a network switch which I can connect anything to the network. Currently I have magic jack connected to the switch. The adapters do depend on specific modem docis 3.0 version to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Fios and the pass through on the MOCA device did not work, however it does come with a cable splitter and I used that to split the signal before the cable box and that worked perfectly. So you have the cable from the wall to splitter with one side going to the cable box and the other going to the MOCA device.
