“Tried to use this on the road with a wifi hotspot and it didn't work. What am I doing wrong? I do not want to use all my mobile data to use this product. It works great without the wifi hotspot.”

Not enough data for the area you are in to connect to hotspot.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. Check the connection and make sure your chromecast is connecting. I have Verizon so depending on what I have my GHz band set to on my phones hotspot settings determines if my hotspot will connect to my Chromecast. If I set it to the "use 5 GHz band if available" it won't connect to the hotspot. 2. If you are trying to cast something make sure that the device that you are casting from such as a mobile phone or tablet is also connected to the same hotspot. Hope this helps.
