Bought this to "beam" from my laptop. Was a fail as the computer is missing some software. Figured I'd try it using my Galaxy S7 edge and my Direct TV App. Blew me away. Yes, you can control the volume from the TV remote. Picture quality is excellent. Technology is amazingly awesome!!!!!!
