• You have to have internet to play videos on this device it's not a Chromecast. If you want to play things from your phone just get a Chromecast instead.

• You actually have to have Wi-Fi connected to enjoy the great apps that firestick has to offer. Your TV must also have a HDMI port so that the firestick can connect to it. I have included some pictures of what it looks like connected to your TV and what the home screen looks like with some of the apps I downloaded to my firestick.
