You can find additional motherboard specifications through gigabyte's website, I have provided the most relevant information to answer your question. Storage specifications: 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16) * For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot. (The PCIEX16 slot conforms to PCI Express 4.0 standard.)(Note) 4 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x1 (PCIEX1_1~4) (The PCIEX1 slot conforms to PCI Express 3.0 standard.) This SSD will work in any of these 5 available storage slots, it will be up to you whether you choose to have this SSD be your primary boot device or secondary SSD.
