Thank you. I couldn't get it to connect to Microsoft's update server. I called Microsoft and they said it wasn't a valid product key. I ended up getting frustrated and returned it to Best Buy. The manual that came with the laptop just referenced the hardware. Even then it said it varied by model. I got this laptop because it said it could upgrade to 64gb of RAM but it is never a good idea to spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade if you don't have the correct information. If the laptop came with recovery media to install/reinstall Windows it would be a great help.

The easiest way to update and authenticate your device is to update your laptop through the Windows update installer. Your computer will be briefly connected to a Microsoft server that will authorize the updates and authenticate your Windows OS. This should resolve your issue. If for whatever reason you are still encountering this issue or require further instructions, please feel free to contact our service team at [email protected]. Simply email them with a brief description of your issue and they will better assist you. Thank you! Sincerely, The ADATA/XPG
