• The Elements line of Adobe software is not part of Creative Cloud subscription plan. At least, at this time, it isn’t. If you do not want to get locked into a Creative Cloud subscription, 2019 is still a safe purchase. Since Adobe has changed their Creative Cloud stance for at least one other line of software (Lightroom), I recommend triple-checking future versions to make sure that they haven’t changed this for Photoshop Elements.
