I bought the box from Best Buy. It comes with an installation disk and the serial number to unlock the software. The manual is on-line. There are so many great free you tubes out there for learning Elements that I have not found this to be a problem. I only reference the manual when I am trying something new and I can't find a video that shows what I want to do. This usually helps me to frame the question when searching for videos to help me learn something new. Just search photoshop elements and you will get a long list of helpful you tubes.

I needed to go to their website and "download" their manual which would have used a lot of ink & paper. It just came with the cd. I couldn't return it for a refund because I had already opened the box. Nothing in the product description did it mention that I would need to download the manual or instructions.
