What's sweet about this chair, is that you can choose not to install either of the arm rests. They are fairly adjustable as well. The arm rests are completely independent of the back rest. Therefore, they are not needed for chair structural integrity.

I hear this from some people, but when you are using your mouse, you need somewhere to properly rest your arms, so it makes no sense to not have arm rests, and this is not what a gaming chair is made for. I just put both of them all the way down, and the way I sit, it is perfect proportion and posture, and I rest my arm on the arm rest when I use the mouse or even the keyboard if needed.
