My best guess is, the one you are looking at on the website has the new kabylake i7 and the newer screen. This model has the skylake processor. It also could be marked down simply because they need to move the stock.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The comparable model on dells website has the 7700 processor, hence the extra 100-200 tag.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The newer ones from Alienware have the new 7th gen i7's, this one has a slightly older 6th gen i7, with very comparable performance for the price drop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The reason these models are less expensive is because best buy buys these in bulk and WITHOUT the on-site warranty support. If for some reason you need warranty support, it will only be the standard support where you have to send it back to Alienware for them to fix it and ship it back to you. Other than that, its the same exact laptop. I found this out when i had a defective motherboard on my first one and requested their service tech and they told me that since i bought it at best buy their laptops do NOT have on site support. Excellent laptop nonetheless. Bestbuy still has its two week return policy however, so just do all the testing you can before those two week are up, otherwise you may be without a pc for a few weeks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found the main difference is it has Tobi Eye Aware not Tobi Eye Tracker. Big difference in that this model knows when you looking at it but with the built in IR it doesn't do screen expansion and I do believe the I the Core is 6th gen not the 7th Gen. They change it a lot on the website but those are the things that usually change are the inner guts. Great beast of a computer regardless!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.its on sale thats why its cheaper right now. other stores still has this listed hundreds more. dell just updated their laptop configurations.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because Dell's website offers the Kaby Lake revision, rendering these obsolete and older. though Kaby lake gains 2-5% in performance boost, there is no much difference unless you are into deep learning stuff. So get these as soon as you can. Also this specific model does not have G-sync ($200 premium) support. It does not say it on the site.
