“I've seen alot of reviews mentioning faulty monitors, faulty heatsinks, and shoddy keyboards. Is this a common issue, or are these few and far between? I'm particularly asking anyone who's had it for an extended period of time.”

I heard of those too, but IIRC it was the QHD/UHD screens, not the 1080P screens. I have not had any issues whatsoever with my 1080P screen. My temps are also good while playing Tomb Raider/MKXL/DOOM/Assetto Corsa on max settings for hours at a time, though the fans do kick out the heat. Never had a problem with my keyboard either. My build was 1/4/2017, so it is a newer model that may have had the bugs worked out, but I did update the firmware to 1.00.08. For the record my rig is a AW17R4-272 (SKU: 5623233) with Tobii.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IPA screens tend to have light bleed when screen is black, the heat sink is fine just seems like they don't apply enough paste for proper cooling and the keyboard is great no issues there..
