• It does not but that is because it has SSD. Optane is not necessary. I've had both and don't notice any improvement from Optane over SSD. Also, the SSD had far more space. Shouldn't sway your decision.

• It does not include Optane memory. I have the R7 with it though and can say from my experience that it is not any faster than SSD. I think the technology will get better but I didn't notice any advantage over SSD.
