“I saw that Dell came out with 3080 cards that are shorter, I understand the power supply has to be upgraded to 1000w. So my question is WHY cant this support the 3080 cards? Is it that they are too long, not enough power or other?”

The 3080 cards are have space constraints when compared to the card that is shipped from the factory. However, we suggest you to contact the Dell sales team and they will help you with the card upgrade.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The power support unit in this unit is a 850 Watt Supply. Nvidia recommends using a 750W power supply with the 3080. So power supply is not a problem. The issue with the 3080 in this machine is that the case is not long enough to support it. Simply, the 3080 is too long to fit.
