A:AnswerYes, however the proper installation gear will be needed as well as minor alterations. You'll need a wiring harness adapter like the "Metra 70-1771" as well as a dash kit like the "Metra 95-5817" and I can't remember if you'll need the antenna adapter or not on those Fords... I don't think so though if I remember correctly. As far as the "minor alterations", you may have to trim a little of the mounting area in the dash for it to fit. (this will probably apply to all double-din replacements for your vehicle) There are a few websites that I can't list here as it's against the terms and conditions for posting on a retailers website. However if you look around online you should find a good install guide along with much more information specific to your vehicle.
A:AnswerYes it most certainly will! Of course you'll need the proper installation gear to do so. Examples of such would be...
First will be if your truck came WITH Ford SYNC-
1.) Metra 95-5820 Dash Kit
2.) iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR Interface Module
3.) iDatalink Connec HRN-RR-FO1 Factory Integration Adapter
4.) Metra 40-CR10 Antenna Adapter
(NOTE THAT YOU WILL STILL LOSE YOUR FORD SYNC CAPABILITY BUT WILL BE ABLE TO RETAIN YOUR STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS)
Second will be WITHOUT Ford SYNC-
1.) Metra 95-5820 Dash Kit
2.) PAC C2R-FRD1 Wiring Interface
3.) Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Adapter
4.) Metra 40-CR10 Antenna Adapter
You should definitely talk to the install guys at your local Best Buy as these newer vehicles have ALOT of quirks and annoying elcetronics when installing aftermarket equipment. Like when I installed this CDE-W265BT into my own vehicle, I had to be careful regarding a simple Air Bag LED indicator. Simply turning the power on to test the stereo in the vehicle after unplugging it can cause it to trip a code that can only be reset at the factory had I forgotten to reconnect it before-hand.
A:AnswerYou'll have to find a install kit. Just install this unit in my Silverado. Found the kit that came with , mounting bracket, wiring harnesses, and module that retains you steering wheel controls. It will cost you a little extra, but well worth the money. Several different companies, I bought Crux. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI would suggest visiting a Best Buy store to speak with a tech in the car installation bay for specific details. They should be able to tell you whether or not this receiver is compatible with your vehicle.
Thanks!
