“Does the Frame Require WiFi to upload photos? I can't seem to just drag and drop from my computer. Also the USB port does not seem to recognized the hard drive I plugged into it.”

Yes, the frame needs to be connected to wifi if you want to send pictures via the app. If you just want to transfer picture from your computer, it does not need to be connected to the internet. If you are using a hard drive, the drive need to be self powered as the USB port on the frame does not enough power to support a hard drive.
