Q: QuestionCan I set up the frame at home and then ship it to someone as a gift?

• A:Answer Yes, you can. If you are the first person to setup the frame then you can easily send photos to the person you are sending the frame to. If you wish for others to setup the phone app or email see the instructions, or contact [email protected] if you need assistance with getting others connected to the frame.

Q: QuestionPhoto's can be added from a remote location but can they be removed from a remote location as well?

• A:Answer Not with this frame. You can delete photos directly from the frame, but the phone app for that frame does not delete photos on the frame. Only the owner of the frame can delete photos directly on the device.

Q: QuestionOnce photos are uploaded do you need Wi-Fi for it to play the photos?

• A:Answer No. Photos that come from the phone via WIFI are stored on the frame's internal HD. WIFI can be disconnected. That frame can also play photos directly from an SD card or USB thumb drive,. 32GB or less with the memory cards.

• A:Answer Photos that come from the phone app via WIFI go into a cloud storage area. Photos that get imported via computer are stored internally and they go into one folder and will play in the reverse order of which they were entered, but you can use random mode as well. Photos can also be played directly from SD cards (32GB or smaller).

• A:Answer Yes…if they have the app, and are on your wireless network; in other words, NOT BY EMAIL. There is an SD slot and a USB port. We just took an old 16GB stick, copied 100’s of pics to it, and added that. The Frame uses both on-board and USB randomly.

Q: QuestionDoes the Frame Require WiFi to upload photos? I can't seem to just drag and drop from my computer. Also the USB port does not seem to recognized the hard drive I plugged into it.

• A:Answer Yes, the frame needs to be connected to wifi if you want to send pictures via the app. If you just want to transfer picture from your computer, it does not need to be connected to the internet. If you are using a hard drive, the drive need to be self powered as the USB port on the frame does not enough power to support a hard drive.

• A:Answer Yes, you use a phone app (FrameTime app) to send photos from your phone to the frame. Additionally you can upload photos from an SD card or USB thumb drive. Use 32GB or smaller drives. You can also connect directly to a computer using USB cable.

• A:Answer It does not play MOV file but if you send the video thru our app, it will convert the video recorded and play on the frame. If the video is not playing, please try a different encoding as the one you uploaded is probably not supported.

• A:Answer Yes. In your settings the best practice is to turn full screen mode to OFF or change the display ratio to scale to original size or something close to that. This allows the frame to determine orientation and size.
