I bought this and took the drive wheels out. My factory Toyota system will not stop searching for direction when I put the cart in the deck. I put the gears back in and the car deck still searches for direction without playing the audio. Any suggestions null

I don't have this problem. Maybe get a new radio. Sometimes it does flip sides. So I blow it like a old Nintendo cartridge.

If you take out the gear wheels for eliminate noise , adapter will be rejected in most newer car cassette decks specially those with logical tape control system. two pulleys of adapter should be turn together same as cassette tape. i think maybe you did not put all original wheels back in . I have Toyota cassette deck and works fine with this adapter although i have wheel gear noise .
