“I bought this and took the drive wheels out. My factory Toyota system will not stop searching for direction when I put the cart in the deck. I put the gears back in and the car deck still searches for direction without playing the audio. Any suggestions”

Please try again later.If you take out the gear wheels for eliminate noise , adapter will be rejected in most newer car cassette decks specially those with logical tape control system. two pulleys of adapter should be turn together same as cassette tape. i think maybe you did not put all original wheels back in . I have Toyota cassette deck and works fine with this adapter although i have wheel gear noise .
