“So am a bit confused, lets say the microphone is on, now when someone is speaking their voice would come out of my computer speaker, won't this microphone pick up their voice and create a somewhat echo for the person on the other end?”

We have this mic and use it for Zoom at the same time using the computer speakers to hear those on the other end with 0 feedback complaints! It’s a pretty sweet mix. Also it has a headphone Jack so if you’re ever worried about that, you can always set your speaker source to the microphone and listen to calls through the headphones.
