“We are looking for a way to record our church pianist at home, and then be able to play back in the church. Does this save recordings for playback and would any external blue tooth speaker do the job? Thanks and any suggestions would be appreciated.”

Yes, you can use this to record your pianist. However, it does not come with any software to do this. There are many free & paid options for video capture. Simply do a search for video capture and find a product that will be suitable for you.

However, you could use the microphone for better sound quality and record via an application on your computer. For Macbooks you could do this on the Voice Memos app, GuitarHero, or other purchased apps. Hope this helps!
