Q: QuestionWould like to know the answer to the last question posted. Is there an open space over the vent or was a part missing. Before a purchase I want to know. When you measure depth is that excluding the door?

Q: QuestionOur venting goes into the ceiling, then horizontally thru the house wall, where there's a damper. Amana has a damper at the microwave. (1) Will the two dampers in series make the airflow ineffective? (2) Can we remove Amana’s damper if need be?
