All of Amaryllo cameras are not battery powered because we wish to give our users a full picture. Meaning, we offer 24/7 continuous video recording so that nothing is missed. And in order to do so, these cameras would need a constant power source. If a battery powered camera tried to offer 24/7 continuous video recording, the user would have to constantly change out the battery as it would drain out the power quickly. Hope this helps!
