A:Answer You can set up reminders, alarms, lists, etc. and it all works well. We have notifications set for our own meds, for moving the cars for street sweeping, for making calls, etc. The trick is downloading the Alexa app. I ended up buying the cheapest Fire Tablet because although we have an office set up here, and we all have computers and smartphones, the only way we can access that Alexa app is through one of Amazon's own devices. It's a pain in the neck to have to use a special device just for the app, but if you just get a cheap, refurbished Fire Tablet (mine's about the size of a smartphone and cost almost nothing), you can download the Amazon Alexa App and should be able to set up anything you want.
