Q: QuestionI have an IPod that I want to connect to the Echo Link. If I do this, can I stream that audio to my other Echo Dots that are linked as a group?
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer Hey Joe The Alexa app is what connects your device to the Echo devices, and currently IOS 11+ is needed to run the app. If your device is compatible then you should be able to stream your audio using your Echo Link and creating music to stream to. I hope this helps

Q: QuestionI have an existing CD/DVD player and a turntable. If i buy an echo link can I connect them to the Echo Link and stream the audio signal to my Echo Studios or do I need an amplifier? I don't have any conventional speakers or an amplifier.
Asked by BobL.
- A:Answer Hello, BobL! The Echo Link works to control a speaker, amplifier, receiver, or sub woofer with either your Alexa app or your voice through another Echo device (like an Echo Dot). The device will not link the sound to come out of your Echo Studio. I hope that helps to answer your question!
