There are tv remote "skills" available for use with echo. Just go to the skills section on the app or website.

I use mine for operate my TV with my voice even though I've found it easier to use the remote. You have to have a secondary system though to do it. I use my Harmony Elite Universal Remote through it's Hub to operate my entire home theater system and the Echo works through the Harmony Hub.

Yes but you have to have a logitech remote with hub. Check your tv model to make sure logitech supports it. U can also use Alexa voice control with Samsung TVs built in 2016 using smartthings.
