Q: QuestionThe Amazon - Echo Show -- is that instead of, or in addition to, the regular Echo?
Asked by Josh.
- A:Answer The Show is just another model in the line of Echo devices that include the original Echo, the Tap, the Dot and the Look. They all have similar functionality but are for fitting different use cases and price ranges. I have not heard anything about the Show replacing any of the other devices in the line.

Q: QuestionCan I use it as an alarm clock
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer We use ours as an alarm clock, timer and reminder all the time. As an alarm clock, you just tell it to set an alarm for the target time ( if you don't specify AM or PM it will ask) and you're good. To cancel the alarm when it goes off, just use the wake word and 'stop' or 'cancel' or whatever phrasing you're comfortable with. You can also cancel an alarm early just by telling it to 'cancel alarm'. There's also a choice of the type of sound for your alarm in the Alexa app and some of the celebrity ones are funny. We switch up the alarm sounds periodically.

Q: QuestionIs this a stand alone unit?
Asked by question.
- A:Answer Yes it is a stand alone unit. But I have one in my living room and one in the kitchen. I also have three echo dots in the house. I can set them to play music on one or two or all if I wish. I can drop in on any room like an intercom. They really are helpful and fun.
