“Just received my echo show 5, I have an older one and the 10. I can not get it to connect to my internet. My internet shows up but will connect. Any ideas or help? I've changed internet settings and still no luck. Never had issues with my other ones...”

On my home router, I have access control enabled meaning I only allow know devices to connect. I have to explicitly add any new devices to my router. Is it possible that you have access control enabled? Just a thought . . .

First, try disconnecting the Echo Show 5's power connector and letting it sit for 30 seconds to a minute. If you're still having issues, I would try to power cycle your router the same way. Power it down for about a minute and let it come back up fully before trying setup again. From there, if you're still having issues I would suggest reaching out to Amazon's customer service for the next steps, or possibly returning the Echo to the store to swap for a different one.
